Applications
TheFeraTracklabelingkitwasoptimizedforproperinvitrolabelingofcelllines(NIH-3T3,Jurkat),primarycells(granulocytes,neuralProgenitors),andstemcells(hematopoietic,mesenchymal,andembryonicstemcells)fromdifferentspecies(mouse,human,rat).Similarresultswereobtainedwithdifferentiationassayscomparinglabeledandunlabeledstemcellsindicatingbiocompatibilityofintracellularlabeling.FeasibilityofthenewlydevelopedcontrastparticlesforMRI-basedinvivocelltrackinghasbeenevaluatedexemplarybytransplantationofmouseneuralprogenitorsandratgranulocytes.
FeraTrackisnotapplicableforintracellularmagneticlabelingofnaturalkiller(NK)cells.
